These are some great typographic images found in Milwaukee's Third Ward along the river. 

wedding project

This is the gift I am giving at the weddings I'm going to this summer. I made a block print with a design that incorporates ideas about love and marriage (seen on the top picture). Then I printed that design over a type layout I made with watercolor. The type is based on the Bible verses in 1 Corinthians 13 that talk about love. For each couple I change where the hands point to on the clock so that they point to the date of the wedding.

I threw together this table placement on my back patio in about 15 minutes to surprise a friend of mine for lunch. I got the idea on the spur of the moment (hence why I did it so fast), and I am quite proud of it. Above the table hangs a clothesline where I pinned up three pictures to set the mood. Two of them I just pulled out of a magazine and another was a rough watercolor I did myself about two years ago.
